Ambitious A-level student Taran Sanghera is taking the first step towards his dream career in information technology with an apprenticeship at Link ICT, located in Pride Park, Derby.
Taran’s impressive academic record includes A-levels in Computer Science, English Literature, and a Distinction* in Digital Media. His apprenticeship opportunity was facilitated by Althaus Digital.
From a young age, Taran who lives in Chellaston has been fascinated by software development, web design, and programming. As an Apprentice Information Communications Technician, he will play a vital role in assisting experienced IT technicians, provide on-site technical support, ensuring smooth IT system operations, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Reflecting on his new role, Taran shared: “I’ve always dreamed of working in IT, and joining Link ICT is a fantastic opportunity for me to gain hands-on experience with the latest devices and systems. I’m eager to contribute and grow in this dynamic field.”
Outside of his apprenticeship, Taran is passionate about programming, fitness, chess, writing, and music composition. Whether creating code, composing melodies, or enjoying a game of chess, Taran’s diverse interests showcase his drive and determination.
With his talent, dedication, and passion for technology, Taran is set to thrive in his apprenticeship and continue to make strides toward his IT career.
