We are delighted announce that we have appointed a marketing agency to help us respond to demand from companies wanting to set up more secure remote access facilities for employees working from home.
Since 2004, we have been developing our reputation by providing technical support to schools and businesses. We are very different in that our proposition differs from other support providers in that each client has a dedicated IT technician who is physically on site at a set time and day each week to ensure systems are maintained and users have access to an expert to fix issues and get training on IT hardware and software.
We are passionate about growing our business and delivering an excellent service and have been working with Simple Marketing Consultancy to develop a focused marketing strategy and communications programme to increase our profile and win new business. More recently, in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have seen an increase in demand from schools and businesses wanting our help to set up more secure remote access facilities for employees working from home.
Commenting on the appointment Mark Fryers said, “I initially appointed SMC to help us build our portfolio of local businesses across the East Midlands. More recently the demand for secure and robust IT and telecoms systems caused by the recent pandemic has increased dramatically.”
Mark added, “Whilst most businesses were prepared, some schools and businesses had to rush to provide remote access and it is these organisations who are now looking to improve security given that remote working is likely to be a more permanent arrangement. We’re also finding that some companies are not able to seamlessly divert phone calls made to company landlines to employees working from home. Instead they have been using their own mobile phones to return calls. This has the potential to create data protection and safeguarding issues, particularly for school teachers.”
Nottingham based Simple Marketing Consultancy was founded in 2010 and is run by co-directors Elliot & Bev Cook. Their business model is act as the outsourced marketing manager to family and owner managed businesses.
Commenting, Elliot Cook said, “So far we have helped Link ICT develop a focused marketing strategy. This has included the launch of a new website and a regular and co-ordinated programme of marketing communications. The next phase will be focused on helping our client attract business who are keen to ensure the connections their employees use to gain remote access to company IT network and phone systems are secure and will reduce the risk of cyber fraud.”
Link ICT acts for a portfolio of local schools and businesses which include The Bemrose School, Woodville Schools Federation, The Tax Partnership and Caring Hands. As well as on site IT support, the company provides telephone systems, audio visual equipment and IT hardware and software. They have also have the ability to install cashless catering systems which they also expect to be in demand as companies return to work and seek to minimise the risk of exposure to the virus from handling money within workplace cafes.
