On Thursday 14th July, The Bemrose School is holding a careers event for year 10 and 11 students who attend The Bemrose School or City of Derby Academy. At the event, there will be many well-known organisations attending, such as the University of Derby, Rolls Royce and the Royal Air Force. These organisations will be there to help show the students the many opportunities they offer and for the students to explore these further, asking questions along the way.
With our desire to support our local community and close, long-lasting, relationship with both The Bemrose School and City of Derby Academy, Link ICT Services have chosen to donate an Apple iPad for the event. The iPad will be raffled off to one lucky student attending the event!
An iPad can help to provide enhanced learning on the go, offering portable access to Wi-Fi. With a universal interface and gamified, engaging apps, the versatile device will be an added benefit to any individual’s education.
We hope the event heightens students’ aspirations and goals, and good luck to those who enter the competition to win the iPad!
